The foals by this sire ore particularly outstand-' ing and indicate that he is going to prove a remarkably successful sire. He is one of the best bred horses in the world, being by Son-in-Law from Cinna, and is a halfbrother to Gay Shield and closely related to Spearhead, etc. He is the sire of a winner in England, his first foal. Phaleron Bay, imported last season, has developed into a magnificent type and is a fit compatriot to Beau Pere who is onfe' of th« most magnificent stallions ever imported.
