MR. R. N. MOODY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr. Robert Norman Moody, barrister and solicitor, of Auckland, whose death occurred in a Wellington private hospital, graduated with an LL.B. 'degree at Auckland, and was the first Master of Laws in New Zealand. For many years he was lecturer in laws at Auckland. Mr. Moody was also legal adviser to the Tongan Government, and while in Tonga conducted many cases with distinction. He was gassed in France, and since his return to New Zealand his health had not been robust. He took ill in Wellington] while proceeding to Dunedin to visit his brother, Dr. Arthur Moody. Mr. Moody leaves a widow, but no children. His brother, Mr. Allan Moody, is also a well-known solicitor. Tributes to the late Mr. Moody were paid in the Police Court this morning,
