PARTY AT AIRPORT
. The Miramar R.S.A. Ladies' Auxil-1 lary Club held a very pleasant party recently at the Airport' Tea Rooms, to bid farewell to Mrs. G. Wilson, who i has resigned the position of honorary secretary, having left the Miramar district. Mr. O. G. Smith (chairman of the men's committee) presented Mrs. Wilson with a handsome bag and a cheque from the two committees, and thanked her for the efficient way in which she has always worked and wished her every success in the future. In reply, Mrs. Wilson thanked everybody for their kindness to her, and gave the R.S.A. every good wish in their work.
Miss Pamela Walden gave ■ some clever acrobatic dancing; Misses Noeline Thompson and Nola Moss contributed a song and dance duo; Miss Margaret Wainwright. gave recitations; and Miss Pat Trower a musical monologue. Mrs. T. Bodmin sang two songs. All the items were mubh appreciated. Miss Sullivan and Mrs. Caigou were the accompanists. The competitions were won by Mrs. Codkin and Miss Pat Trower.
A most enjoyable evening was brought to a close by the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem. '
