SOCCER WORLD TOUR
Islington Corinthians Football Club has asked the English Football Association to consider and approve of one of the most ambitious schemes ever attempted by a Soccer club—a world tour by an England amateur eleven. It is understood that an itinerary for such a tour has actually been' drawn up. This includes visits to India, Malay States, China, and Egypt. The tour would last, roughly, four months, and about twenty players would be required. One of the main reasons for the tour is to provide the F.A. with valuable data in view of the next Olympic Games, in Japan, in four years' time.
