WOMEN MINISTERS
As recently reported in the official organ Of the- Reformed (Calvinist) Church pf Alsace-Lorraine, a woman theologian, Mile. Bertsch, has for some time exercised the functions of minister in the Alsatian parish of SteinselzRott to the entire satisfaction; of her parishioners, among whom she is very popular (states an overseas exchange).
Another woman minister has just appointed in the; south of France, 'in charge of the parish of Sainte-Croix-Valle Franchise, in the Department of Gard. As far as is known these are •the only two women exercising the functions of the ministry of a church in France.
