MOTHERS' CLUB
EVENTS ARRANGED A general meeting was held recently of the Karori Plunket Mothers' Club, when the following officers were elected:—President. Mrs. G. A. Laird; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. S. R. Neal; | committee, Mesdames P. Shorland, Lovatt, Green, D. Cameron, Kenyon, W. H. Nichols, A'rbuthnot, and Bruce. The following circles were formed:— Music, leader. Mrs. P. Shorland; arts and crafts, Mrs. Green; play-reading, Mrs. S. R. Neal; physical culture, Mrs. Key. . The following functions were arranged:—A play-reading by the "Thespians!' in October; a bazaar in November, and a children's fancy dress party to be conducted by "Uncle Campbell" in December.
