FIGHTING IN STREET
THREE MEN FINED For. fighting together yesterday in Lome Street, three men were charged before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. John McAnally, a labourer, aged 48. was fined £3, and Alexander Telle-, = printer, aged 52, and Samuel Telfer, a seaman, aged 53, were each fined 15s. Constable A. T. Morrison said that at 5.20 p.m. yesterday he saw the men fighting together in Lome Street, outside the Dominion < Hotel. The disturbance first started inside the hotel. McAnally seemed to be having the fight all his own way.
The two Telfers maintained that McAnally, who did not appear, was the aggressor.
