YOUNG RUSSIAN PIANIST.
Vadim Hrenoff, a young Russian pianist, has been causing much interest among American music-lovers. At a recent recital in San Francisco he opened a heavy programme with a group of Beethoven, Brahms, and Chopin, proceeded to a group of modern Russians, including Rachmaninoff, Medtner, Shostakovitch, and Scriabin, and concluded with works by Debussy, Gsanados, Turina, and Longas.
