PENWOMEN'S CIRCLE

Frau Krug, an overseas journalist, was the guest of honour yesterday at the r/jnwomen's Circle of the Lyceum Club. ' ' . Frau'Krug-chose for her subject "The Habsburg Dynasty," giving a historical survey of that family up to the beginning of the World War, and at the close of her address made a plea for all women to work for peace. Among her impressions gained of New Zealand, she said, the most surprising seemed to be the way the women had to work to overcome the difficulties of the domestip .problem, leaving them but little time 'for intellectual pursuits, Which-was such a loss. Afternoon tea was served, and 'general conversation brought a pleasant meeting ta.a close.
