LEVER BROTHERS LTD.
To celebrate the achievements ol the founder of the company fthe late Viscount Leverhulme), the members of the staff of Lever Brothers (New Zealand)', Ltd., and their friends were entertained at a cabaret evening at the Mayfair Cabaret. Both halls of the Mayfair presented a very gay appearance, and the committee spared no effort in their endeavours to make this function a sue- ■ cess, the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" coming all too soon for the majority of the dancers. Mr. H. F. Woods sang some of his popular successes, and an exhibition of dancing was provided by Mr. Southern Colledge and partner. The prizes for the novelty dances were presented during the evening by Mrs. W. F. Graham (wife of the managing director).
