LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

A VISIT TO BALI

\. . •■."'■ - Mrs.-A. M: Lewis was the speaker at a meeting of'the Wellington South branch of the League of Mothers held this week in the Church of Christ School Hall. She gave a delightfully interesting talk, describing a trip by Japanese steamer to Singapore, and telling of the places she visited in that town. Leaving Singapore she travelled by Dutch steamer to Java, thence to the island of Bali. Mrs. Lewis described the life and industry of the island and the famous Bali dancing. Duets by Mesdames Adams and Pole and items by the choir were much enjoyed, and afternoon tea was served.
