The.Wesley LadiesV Guild (Wellington Central) heldctheir.annual meeting recently, there, being a .very good a.ttendance of visitors and members. The retiring president occupied the chair. In the annual" repbrt, the ."secretary showed that the. year had been an interesting and successful one, thus enabling the guild to make its usual distribution of funds.-. at the Christmas season. The treasurer in the financial statement showed receipts to be over £19, of which £12 were allocated for Christmas cheer.-. ■ : .

Mrs. Ham was presented by the Rev. Mr. Paris with an , oak dinner wagon from members of : the guild as a token of affection and appreciation of her five years as president. Bouquets of, beautiful, spring flowers were presented-to the- secretary, treasurer, and- pianist 'respectively, which* were very-much appreciated.
