RACE TRAGEDY
CAR RUNS INTO CROWD
RIO DE JANEIRO, July 12.
One soldier was killed outright, ihree died soon after, and eight were severely injured, while 18 civilians were also hurt, when a racing car driven by Helie Mice, a Frenchwomaa ran into the crowd while trying to pass a competitor.
Mile. Mice suffered internal injuries, broken ribs, and slight concussion. She may recover. The car turned completely over and panic ensued among the crowd. >
