LONDON, July 13. • Mr. George Pitt-Rivers, who was aide-de-camp to the Governor-General of ■ Australia from 1922 to 1924, and who is one of the leaders of Britain's tithe payers, is actively organising resistance to the Tithe Bill at present before Parliament.

Mr. Pitt-Hiyers, who is squire of 20,000 acres in Dorset and Wiltshire, has drafted a 1000-word petition asking his Majesty to withhold his assent from the Bill.
