ATTACKED BY ARABS
SIGNALLERS IN PALESTINE

JERUSALEM, July 13. Members of the Royal Corps of Signallers who were repairing cut wires at Jenin were attacked by Arab marauders and summoned help because they were out-numbered. The First Battalion of the North Lancashire Regiment came to the rescue and repulsed the Arabs, seven of ■whom were killed. A British soldier was wounded.
