Perfect conditions over the weekend saw a full atendance on the Karori Club's links at Makara.
• On Saturday a fourball competition for the Levien Shield was won by E. Cunningham and J. Anderson with 84. Yesterday a fourball bogey in the morning was'won in a tie by E. Cunningham and J. Anderson, with G. Lamb and J. Pope, both 8 up. The afternoon fourball. bogey was won by G. Lamb and J. Pope, 5 up. In the play-off for the vice-presi-dent's trophy, a Stableford competition, H. Porter beat H. Pope with 38 points to 36. In the play-off of the King's Birthday Stableford A. Wadham beat E. Burns.
In the quarter-finale of the captain's trophy, W. Walker beat C. Hawkins, 3 and 2, and A. Simm beat Hoskings, 5 and 4. In the semi-final A. Simm beat H. Pope, 1 up.
