BUNNYTHORPE CROSSING
(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. The attention of the Railway Depart ment is to be drawn by the Automobile Association (Manawatu) to the dangers of the level crossing at Bunnythorpe, where two people were killed on Thursday last when the express from New Plymouth crashed into a car. This crossing has claimed many victims, | more, in fact, than the Longburn crosE-1 ing where the intention is to construct' an overhead road bridge. The Automobile Association is asking for flashing red lights and bells. Sir Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird may be taken to Canada this summer, to be exhibited during Vancouver's jubilee celebrations. |
