HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE
At the annual meeting of. the Hutt Licensing Committee today the following members of the committee were present:-Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M. (chairman), Messrs, H. Foley, J. E. August, E F. Hollands, and A. W. Bowden. It was intimated that extensive repairs and additions would be carried out to the Railway Hotel, Lower Hutt. The following business was transacted: — . Issue of publicans' licences;— David Shine, Central Hotel, Lower Hutt; Hugh Fahey, Empire Hotel, Petone. Renewal of publicans' licences:— Maria Irvine Meagher, Bellevue Hotel, Lower Hutt; James Minehan, Family Hotel, Lower Hutt; Samuel George Piatt, Railway Hotel, Lower Hutt; Daniel George Fraser, New Central Hotel, Petone; Bridget Elizabeth Purcell, Victoria Hotel, Petone; Thomas Joseph Walsh, Grand National Hotel, Petone. Renewal of a wholesale licem*, Robert Pearson Lees, 535 High Street, Lower Hutt.
