IGNORED IN THE PRESS
GERMAN BAN ON ECKENER
LONDON, April 6.
The Berlin correspondent of "The Times" says it is not surprising that Dr. Eckener, ' from Rio de Janeiro, denies knowledge of his "disgrace" for declining to allow the Zeppelin Hindenburg to be used for election propaganda purposes, for the instructions to the German Press not to mention him in connection with the Hindenburg's trans-Atlantic flight were given after the airship's departure.
Newspapers continue to ignore him, although it is rumoured that German correspondents abroad, ignorant of the ban, are sending cordial references to Dr. Eckener which do not appear.
