The New Zealand croquet championships were continued in fine weather. The following are the results of the morning's play:—
Men's Championship.—First life, third round: W. Tye beat A. J, Gibbs, 26-18. Second life, F. C. Bryan beat W.'Tye, 26-19; E. W. Burgin beat A. G. F. Ross,- 26-15.
Ladies' Championship.—Second life, first round: Mrs. A. S. Clark beat Mrs. Palmer, 26-11; Mrs. Kibblewhite beat Mrs.'Boocock, 26-1; Mrs. Watkins beat Mrs. Bryan, 26-5; Mrs. Pitcaithly beat Mrs. Anheson, 26-0; Mrs. Glass beat Mrs! Brass, 26-7. Second round: Mrs. Caldow beat Mrs. Webber, 26-3; Mrs. Henderson beat Mrs. Kibblewhite, 26-0.
