ENJOYABLE DANCE

An enjoyable evening was spent recently at the Phyllis Oliver Studio when Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andrews entertained a large number of friends at a dance in honour of their son Eric. ■ ■ '

The guests were received by Mvs. Andrews, who was- wearing a frock of wine-coloured lace with diamante clips on a shoulder spray. . Dancing to the excellent music supplied by the danes band under tRe leadership of Mr. Jack Harper was much enjoyed. Several items were given by Miss Shirley Ting (tap-dance), Mr. Frank Andrews (humorous items at the piano), Miss Phyllis Andrews (songs), and Mr. George Ting (piano-accordion solos). A delicious savoury supper was served, and also ices, which were much appreciated on such a hot evening. . Mr. George Ting proposed a toast to the guest of honour, who suitably replied, and a very happy evening was brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
