Ladies' Auxiliary, P.N.S.B.
A committee meeting of the Port Nicholson Silver Band Ladies' Auxiliary was held recently when Mrs. Burley occupied the chair. The committee fully discussed the forthcoming bazaar, which promises to be a financial success. The stall holders present were Mesdames Coyle, Brown, Hambly, Parker, Osten, Drew, Coffin, Lusk, Fe.nton, Ormrod (2), Burley, and Matson, and Misses Lever, Ormrod, and Drew. All reported having a good collection of goods for sale at the bazaar, which is to be held in the basement of Messrs. Hope Gibbons's Building. ,A children's fancy dress party will alsobe part of the effort. Good prizes are offered,for the different sections, besides two special prizes, one for the best boy at the party and one for/ the best girl. The Silver Band will be in attendance, as also will be Miss Adeline Burnette's dancing pupils. As these functions are in. aid of sending the band to the New Plymouth contest any supporters having goods for the bazaar are asked to leave them at the bandroom. the Ritz Tobacconists', Manners Street, or with the secretary of the Ladies' Auxiliary, Mrs. Matson, 09 Upland Koad.
