DR. JOHN RUSK
Dr. John Rusk, of Belfast, at present in Wellington, who is spending some weeks in NeW Zealand with M?s g Rusk before returning Home, has paid £ or.mer visits to the Dominion. He has had a distinguished bowling record haying.won the Irish, single-handed championship amongst other honours. Sn' vv£ o;is.a:Past-president of the Irish Bowling Association, was the prime mover in bringing about the admittance of x New V Zealand and other Dominions to the International Bowling Board. When visiting New Zealand in 1919 Dr. Rusk suggested the tormation of an Imperial Federation of Bowls, but t the consummation sought by JJr. Rusk was not achieved until f une 9>_1?28, when New Zealand, Austraba, Canada, and South Africa were admitted to the board. Dr. and Mrs. Rusk are leaving for Rotorua at the end of the week.
