DEATH OF LORD JELLICOE
Reference was made at the monthly meeting of the Wellington branch of the Navy League yesterday to the death of Earl Jellicoe.
The chairman (Mr. A. "Walker) referred to Lord■'- Jellicoe's services to New Zealand and to the Navy League in this country, and to his great services to the Empire during the Great War. . ■ '
The secretary (Mr. R. Darroch) stated .that the league had sent a wreath. Lord Jellicoe would probably soon be regarded as one of Britain's greatest seamen.
