DAVOLO BACK TO FORM
The success of Davolo at Motukarara last Saturday was not expected, as he was thought to require some racing, having had very little work, except exercise on the beach at New Brighton. Under the circumstances, it was an impressive effort, and he needs only to train on to get some more stakes. He may be hard to beat before the end of the Riccarton carnival, but for the present he would not seem a particularly bright Stewards' prospect.
