NELSON REFEREES
(Special to the "Evenino Post.!') NELSON, July 9. The Nelson Rugby Union's management committee has decided to call a special general meeting oh Thursday evening for. the purpose-.of ratifying the action 'of the committee in dispensing with the services of the old Referees' Association and forming a new body to be named the Nelson Rugby Union Referees' Association. A letter was received from the old association stating that it had decided not to tender its resignation at present. However, the referees for next Saturday's play will be provided by the.new association. •.. ■.■-.,.
