RETURN OF HABSBURGS
LITTLE ENTENTE VIEW j "UNRELAXING OPPOSITION" LONDON, July 6. The Vienna correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says :t is reported that the Government is ready to make the Habsburgs an annual allowance^of £48,000, in addition to restoring thenproperty. ■ The unrelaxing opposition of the Little Entente to the Habsburg restoration was voiced by the Yugoslav Minister, M. Spalaikovitch, in the course of conversations with M. Laval, the French Foreign Minister. It is understood that the French Government expressed the opinion . that the latest measure is Austria's private, affair, not necessitating diplomatic action. Nevertheless, it is considered untimely, because it threatens to create an atmosphere in Central Europe not calculated to facilitate the conclusion of the projected Danubian pact.
