WILSON—PERRETT.

An evening wedding Was solemnised recently at St. Peter's Church, Willis Street, when Pearl Margaret, only daughter of Mrs. and.the late Mr. F. Perrett, Wellington, was married to Garland Thomas, youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. Wilson, of Wellington. The Rev. A. Bullock performed the ceremony. Mr. Shortt presided at the organ, and the church was beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums by friends of the bride. The bride, who was escorted by her cousin, Mr. E. A. Perrett, wore a sheath-fitting gown of magnolia satin with a wide circular train, cowl neckline, and tight-fitting sleeves. A plaited girdle made a delightful finish to the frock. Her long tulle veil was held in place by a halo of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of cream roses, carnations, and maidenhair fern. The two bridesmaids, Miss Nancy McNab (chief) and Miss Eileen Garner were dressed alike in model frocks of Jubilee blue taffeta, slightly trained, close-fitting to the knees where the front and back godets were finished with a waterfall frill. Pink velvet flowers outlined the square necks and were also worn across the hair. Pink shower bouquets and pink mittens completed the toilette.

The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Norman Greenwood and Mr. Noel Clouston was groomsman. Messrs. S. Jones and H. Meachen were ushers.

As the bride left the church she was presented with two horse-shoes. The reception was held at the Pharmacy Hall, Cambridge Terrace, where Mrs. Perrett wearing an ensemble of wine matalasse with bat to tone and carrying a bouquet of autumn flowers received her guests. Mrs. Wilson, mother of the bridegroom, wore a floral frock and black fur coat and carried a bouquet of lemon roses. j When the bride and bridegroom left by car for a tour of the north the bride wore a dark brown costume with accessories to tone.
