The wedding took place recently at St. Thomas' Church, Newt Own, of Inez Reta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. King, of Wellington South,-to Ernest Robert, only son of "Mr. and Mrs. F. Wallace, also of Wellington. The Rev. C. V. Rooke officiated:"' . - The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Mr. E. King, wore a charming frock of heavy ivory marocain, cut on classical lines, the skirt falling in folds and .forming a long flared train. The bodice was cut with 'a yoke forming a cowl neckline, and the •back of the yoke' was trimmed with diamante bqttons. The tight-fitting sleeves were finished with small flares at the shoulders. The long embroidered tulle veil was arranged in halo style and caught to the: side qf the head with bunches of orange blossom. She carried an arm shower of white" cactus dahlias and cyclamen, with touches of palest pink carnations and maidenhair fern. On leaving the church the bride was presented with two lucky horseshoes by little Sliirley Moore and Ronald King. The bridesmaids were Miss Mona Mears (chief) and Miss Ruth Martin. They were dressed alike in fitting frocks of blue lemon-patterned georgette with cascading frills on the skirts and bodices and short cowl sleeves, the bodices being finished at waistline with lemon velvet ribbon.; They wore blue shoes and headdresses of blue velvet flowers, and carried 'bouquets of lemon -and autumn-tinted' dahlias, and' chrysanthemums finished with an 'outline of blue, and blue ribbon streamers. Mr. • Frank Beveridge was best man and Mr. Eric King groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was attended by a few intimate friends 'of. the bride and bridegroom.
