MOTORISTS FINED
» Offenders against the motor regulations and the city bylaws were dealt with by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. Frederick Bognuda was fined 30s on each of two charges of exceeding the licensed load on a motof-lorry. j Fines of 10s-each were imposed upon John Kenneth Fawthorpe and Thomas Griffin for driving without a licence. Frank Sargent Huggins for a breach of the lighting regulations, John Barrington Smythe for a breach of the parking regulations, Ken Bly for permitting an excessive overhang of a lorry load and William Stanley Tretheway for failing to give way to traffic, on the right. Evelyn Myrtle Shepherd was convicted and ordered io pay costs for a breach of the parking regulations. A fine of £1 was imposed upon Harold John Burley for negligent driving. For dangerous driving Reginald Reilly was fined 30s, Henry Ernest Brose 10s, and Kenneth Graham Robinson was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
