SECURITIES STOLEN
THEFT IN. NEW YORK BANK
NEW YORK,, January 28. Daring thieves "stole 1,450,000 dollars worth oi! negotiablo securities, including Government bonds, from a messenger in a Wall Street bank today. This is the second such large theft in recent months. t ' Tho messenger said that ho placed tho parcel on a shelf near the cashier's window. After turning away for' a moment he found it gone.
