A PLEASANT HOUR
WELCOMING PARTY
An informal but very pleasant hour was spent with Miss Nessie Monerieff at the Y.W.C.A. Headquarters, Hamilton Chambers, recently, when the world fellowship committee members were hostesses. In the unavoidable absence of Dr. Sylvia Chapman (national president), Miss Evelyn Watson welcomed Miss Monerieff and wished her all happiness in.her furlough. Miss Monerieff, who has been working in the student department of the Y.W.C.A. in Peiping, gave some of her experiences, which were most interesting. She is an ex-pupil of Wellington Girls College and an ex-member of the staffife of different secondary schools in New Zealand. She also was travelling secretary for the New Zealand Student Christian Movement. Among those present at this gatherRonayne.
