Hall, Wellington, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. W. Niven, Christchurch, has returned home. Mrs. E. M. Hunt, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday to stay with her mother, Mrs. Marchbanks, Heretaunga. Miss Jill Hayman, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Maurice Louisson, Christchurch. Mrs. M. A. Bell will leave Wellington tomorrow morning, and will motor to the Chateau and Botorua. Miss Euth Eoyds, who has boon visiting Wellington, will return to Christchurch tonight. Mrs. A. G. Ballinger and her daughter are Wellington visitors to Christchurch. Mrs. David Markman, who has been visiting New Plymouth, returned to Wellington on Saturday. Mrs. Alan Cameron, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Jessio Home, New Plymouth. • Misses Tui and Jean MacEae, Stratford, who have been visiting Wellington, returned home today. Hurd-Wood, founder and honorary organising secretary of tho New Zealand League for tho Hard of Hearing, is visiting Wellington, and is at the Midland Hotel. Miss Sinclair, Inglewood, who has been visiting Wellington, returned homo oa Saturday. Miss A. Hilles, who has been spending a fortnight's holiday with her mother, Mrs. Hilles, Manaia, has returned to Wellington. Mrs.-P. P.- Grviss, Wellington, is staying with her son at "Glen Do one," Hastings. Mrs. A. W. Eu,therford and Miss Eutherford, pf Mendip Hills, who have been on a visit to Australia, returned by the Makura today. They leave for Christchurch tomorrow evening. Miss A. Eobinson, Miss M. Diamond, Miss Paterson (Auckland) Mrs. P. Hazlewood (London), and Mrs. and Miss Eutherford (Christehurch) are staying at' the Hotel St. George. Miss M. Cunning (London), Miss Joan Sewell (Melbourne), Miss M. Dalrymplo (Bulls), Mrs. H. D.. Bates, Mrs. P. Hartland, and Miss Paul and Miss Betty Paul (Wanganui) are at tho Boyal Oak Hotel. Mrs. Amos and Mrs. Alex Duncan (Levin) are at tho Midland Hotel. Miss Eileen Goodson, Kclburn, has returned from a visit to Blenheim. Mr. and Mrs. William. Watson, Halswell Street, left on Saturday for a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Boys, Waipukurau, who have been staying in Christchurch, passed through.
