NEW PLYMOUTH, August 27; A team of Auckland junior Soceei players defeated Taranaki B today by 4
goals to 1. The visitors, all of whom are under 21, impressed by their style o( positional play and placing generally. They were sound in defence, and combining effectively in attack they gave one of the brightest displays seen for some time. Goals were scored for Auckland by Cleal (2), Burton, and Dalimore. The visitors will play matches at Wangahui, Palmerstoii North, and Napier for tho I'lyger Rose Bowl.
