CANTERBURY BEAT SOUTHLAND

INVERCARGILL, August 9.
A representative men's hockey match between Canterbury and Southland was played here this afternoon in beautiful weather. Canterbury won by 3 goals to I. Play was bright and open, and the Gnal score fairly, indicates the merits of the two teams.
, For Canterbury goals were scored by Rusbridge and McCormick (2), Boyd scoring for Southland. ,
