FREE CONTROL WANTED
CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING

CHRISTCHURCH,.August 9. „ A proposal that cross-country running should be freed from the control of the Kew Zealand Amaieur Athletic Association was supported unanimously by the harrier sub-committee of the Canterbury Centre this evening. ' A remit to thii effect will now go forward from the. committee to the conference of cross-country delegates in Dunedin nest month, moving: that separate control be established under a New Zealand Cross Country Association.
