MANAPOURI STATION CASE

A reserved judgment of Mr. Justice Kennedy dismisses tho claim of tho plaintiffs in the Manapouri Station case. This case, heard in tho Supreme Court at Invercargill in May, was a civil action in which John Macdonald, of Manapoun Station, Mossburn, and Archibald Alan Macdonald, of Waipori, both sheep farmers, sought to recover from John M:;cdonald, of Invcrcargill, company manager, and Angus Maedon aid. of the Plains Station, Mossburn. sheep farmer the sum of £5000 as dam ages for alleged fraudulent misrepresen tation with respect to the purchase by the plaintiffs in ■ 102!) for £15.000 of >he Manapoun Station The-plaintiffs alleared that thry had been deceived into naying £5000 too much for the pro np.rty. The plaintiffs' action for dam acres was dismissed with costs against thoin.
