The Jiual oE the Timaru Cup was played at Manor Park during the weekend between H. J. Mehaffey and J. Ronald, Mehaffey winning 2 and 1.
11l a fourball bogey I. Duncan and E. Brockette and D. Butler and W. Gowcly tied & up.
In a mixed foursome for the club captain's trophy, there was a tie between Miss Mehaffey and G. Maroon,- Miss Marshall and Harman, and Mr. and Mrs. Blundell, all 5 down.
In an 18-hole stroke competition G. W. James and E. Peterson tied with 73. Other cards were W. Hertdry 7u and C. McKiuuey 75.
A "B" team from Manor Park will play at Whakataki on Sunday next. The following is the team;—E. Palliser, J. Mills, B. Cockburn, H. Sherwood, B. Low, G. Maroon, B. Yates, S. Hough, W. Gowdy, S. Brickman, B. Peterson, N. Jackson, B. Brickman, G. Blundell, K. Wilkinson, C. Quinnell, E. Daaiiells, F. Farringtou, K. Mathewson, and W. Packer. Play commences at 9 a.m.
