The following Titahi players qualified to play off for the club's junior championship, and the following is the order of match play in the' first round, which is to be completed by August 19:—H. Murpliy v. K. T. Johnston; J. A. R. Blandford v. J. V. Williams; J. Lulham v. J..8. Watt; H. C.-Boon v. P. McMahon; 11. D. Gyles v. S. A. Crichton; W. Simpson v. J. L. Gichard; C. H. Gyles v. R. G. Mexted; D. A. Caughley v. E. Hardcastle.
A bogey competition was won by L, Spiller (22), 2 down.
A stroke handicap competition was woo by M. Murphy (14), with a net 67. Other scores were:—P. McMahou (18), 69; E. Hardcastle (15), 71; J. B. Watt (20), 73; J. Lulham (16), 74: ; A fouvball best-ball bogey was won by S. Crichton (14) and'E. Wimsett (16), 3 up. The Tunners-up were R. G. Mexted (10) and C. IT. Gyles (16), 2 up.
