TALLOW IN POOR DEMAND

LONDON, May 30.
At tlie tallow sales today 1145 casks were offered and 210 were sold. There ■was no change in the market.
The Bank of New Zealand. Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office under date May 30: Tallow—There is only a poor demand. Current quotations. Good mutton, 20s 9d to 21s per cwt; beef, 18s to 18s 6d; mixed, 17s 9d to 18s; gut, ,15s to 15s 9d.
