Wright; Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the • Johnsonville sale, held yesterday, as follows:—To a large attendance of buyers wo submitted a full yarding i' cattle and average yarding of sheep., The cattle yarding comprised mostly medium-weight bullocks with a few pens of heavier sorts and prime cows and heifers. Prices for heavyweight bullocks, cows, and heifers were on a par with' last week's rates, whilst lighter and secondary bullocks were firmer Vealers, which were yarded in-;the usual numbers, met with a good demand. The sheep yarding was of good quality ud a keen sale resulted at.pi'iccs on a par.with last week's rates. Good Quality lambs sold readily, whilst plainer sorts, were not in demand.

The Farmers' Co-op, Distributing Co., Ltd., report that the market for fat sheep improved slightly at the Masterton sale yesterday, while ewes in lamb to Southdowns were keenly competed for, and sold at better values. The hoggets yarded were only of medium quality, meeting with a fair demand, with a slight easing of prices. ~; The Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co.'s offering of 1043 sheep, 34 head cattle, and 33 r-gs, realised the following prices: —Fat sheep: Fat wethers, 23s' Gd to 255; fat b.f. two-tooths, 21s 6d to 255; fat ewes, 19s to 19s 9d; unfinished, 16s Gd to 16s,9d;fat lambs, 20s to 225. Store Sheep.—Account Beetham Bros., mixed aged ewes, r.w. S.D., 23s Gd; five and six-year ewes, 19s; Lincoln ewes, r:w. S.D., 21s Gd. Other venders: Fourtooth to five-year ewes, 19s to 19s 9d; four and five-year ewes, 18s 4d to 20s-2d; twotooth to four-year ewes, 21s; wether hoggets, 12s 2d to 15s 6d; b.f. hoggets, 15s 9d to 16s 6d; store ewes, 16s 2d; cull lambs. 7s Gd to 9s Gd.
