POLICE REINFORCED
BRITISH TROOPS CALLED OUT
OUTBREAK IN SOUTH
(Received March 31, 1 p.m.) i CALCUTTA, March 30. British troops were called out to assist the police in quelling the riot. Aj curfew order is operating at Fyzabad! and Ajodhya. j
Hindu religious ascetics were mainly responsible for tho attacks on : Moslems. Two Moslem priests were killed and mosques were wrecked. Order has now been restored.
Fierce rioting of Hindus and Moslems at Cannaiiore, South' India, resulted in the death of a Christian onlooker and injuries to several policemen who attempted to separate the combatants.
