WEDDINGS
WILSON—MATTHEWS. The wedding took plac-o recently at St. John's Anglican Chincih, Trentiiam, of Miss Kathleen Matthews, elder daughter of Mrs. Matthews and the late Mr. C. E. Matthews, of The Terrace, Wellington, and Mr. John Aitkcn AVilson, son of tho lato Mr. and Mrs. G. Wilson, also of Wellington. The Rev. Mr. Kendall was the officiating minister. \
Tho bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. F. G. Matthews, wore a charming frock of pale pink angelskin lace, with a picture hat of pale pink felt, and tarried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. Mr. E. Wilson '(brother) was best man. A reception at which only iclatives were present was given at tho country home of Mrs. G. E. Leighron (aunt of tho bride) at tho Plateau (Mangaroa). During the afternoon the bride . and bridegroom left for u> short motor tour of the North Island.
Mrs. Matthews is leaving shortly to spend tho winter in Sydney, and during her absence Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wilson will take her flat on The Terrace.
