SCHOOLBOY'S' DEATH
COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR

AUCKLAND, December 18. j Fatal injuries to the head were received by a pupil of St. Heliers Bay School, Albert Leonard Tucker, aged 14, as tUo result of a collision between his bicycle and a motor-car this morning. The boy, a son of Mr. A. Tucker, had returned to his homo at AValmsley Road only a few minutes earlier, with, advice that he had passed his proficiency examination. He was doing an errand for his mother when the accident occim-ed.
The car, which was driven by Mr. 11. A. Ilorrocks, of St. Heliers, was travelling towards the city. The boy suffered severe cuts on the face, and also received serious head injuries. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where hia death occurred.
