AFGHAN EXECUTIONS
ATTEMPT TO LYNCH

LONDON, December 17. The Afghan Legation announces that Abdul Khaliq and three others, including Mahmood Abdullah Ishaq, were tried at Kabul for the assassination of King Nadir Shah. Khaliq and Mahmood wero sentenced to dearth, after the police had prevented an infuriated crowd from lynching the prisoners. The crowd subsequently demanded the execution of all four prisoners. Khaliq and Mahmood were executed.
