CHRISTMAS PARTIES

CITIZENS' DAY NURSERY

Everyday routine was laid aside for a short time at the Citizens' Day Nursery, Kent Terrace, yesterday afternoon when over thirty of the regularly attending children were given a Christmas party. The rooms were made festive with gay coloured streamers and clusters of balloons, and very tempting -eatables were set on long tables, at which the children sat ou tiny chairs. Flowers of all kinds decorated the tables, and all the small guests wore paper hats. A number of the committee members were present, and helped look after the entertainment of the little folk, who receive daily care and attention [ from the matron, Mrs. Eiby. [ At the conclusion of the party each I child was given a bag of sweets and a balloon to take home. »
