RANDWICK SCHOOL FUNCTION
The voluntary work done by school j committees and parents' associations is known to be a great asset to any school which is dependent on such | bodies for much necessary financial aid. | An endeavour-to express apprecia-, tion for interest shown in the school was made by the staff of the Rand- j wick School recently, when members of the committee and parents' association were entertained at a social function. , ~ ■ ■"• ■ . The .first part of the entertainment took the form.of a euchre tournament, Mrs. Douglas and Mr. Smith being prize-winners. After supper, the headmaster £}&x, A. E. Werry) referred to the fine work .done by the.committee", the Parents' Association,'and Mr. Dunn and Mr. St. Clair replied.
