PRINCE AND UNEMPLOYED
ACTIVITIES INSPECTED
(British Official Wireless.) (Received December 14, 11 a.m.) EUGBY., December 13. When the Prince of Wales, as patron of the National Council of Social Services, began a three days' tour of Yorkshire at Hull today, he was given an enthusiastic welcome by unemployed men of the city, four of whose, clubs ho visited. In these clubs he inspected the men's activities ana talked to'them with entire absence of formality on a variety of subjects. The Prince also visited a handicraft centre for : crippled children. Afterwards he drove to Beverly to visit the hostel where)«unemployed boys receive agricultural training and then went on to York where lie visited more unemployed centres and opened a boys' club. __^_^^___^«—
