DRASTIC ACTION IN FRANCE
(Received December 14,' 2 p.m.) PARIS, December 13. Owing to the fear that French tennis players will be ostracised in England similarly to Rugby, players, M. Rene Lacoste, chairman of the Tennis Federation 's special committee, which is drastically tightening up the amateur rules, produced a voluminous report defining the duties of- the-amateur, and laying down travelling expenses. M. Gillou, president, says: "We are going to be even stricter. Just wait until the committee's report is published."
