SIXTY LIVES LOST
COLLISION ON YANGTZE
(Received December 14, 2 p.m.) > SHANGHAI, December 13. The worst disaster for many years in Chinese inland waters occurred on the Yangtze Biver. According to reports a small Chinese steamer, proceeding to Hankow, crashed into a Government troopship during a heavy • fog, sinking within a few minutes. It is estimated that sixty lives were lost, all Chinese.
